I am so grateful for my family. I am grateful for God’s great plan of salvation, for the trust and ability he has give to each of us to come to earth and learn and grow for ourselves and work our way back to Him. How much sweeter is a reward when we have to work for it, and we ourselves have earned, with His help, mercy, grace, and love. I know that I am a child of God and I have a purpose here on this earth, but not one that will end at death, but an eternal purpose. I know The Book of Mormon is full of truth and knowledge. I have a testimony that this is the word of God. I have faith in Christ and I believe in Christ. I know that he lives and that he watches over me daily. I know that Christ loves me and that I have been guided with his gentle care to where and who I am now. He has constant outstretched arms to me to protect me and save me, bringing to eternal salvation. I know that the Atonement is real. I know that thought this power we can become clean, spotless. I know he died for me. I am so thankful for the power and gift of repentance and how it has blessed my life and helped me to get back and stay on the right path. I know that through the enabling power of grace he as given me, I can over come any trail. I am thankful for the trials I have had in my life, how I have learned and grown from them. I know that the Lord has been by my side the whole way and helped me through each tribulation that I have worked to overcome. It is through the pain and suffering that we are humbled and able to taste a small amount of the suffering the Christ did for each one of us. I know that this gospel is true and it is the only true church in the world today. I know that my Father lives. And He is our creator and protector. God is unchanging, and this is reassuring to me as I go through life. When I am unsure of things I can read the scriptures or talks from God’s mouthpieces on earth and know that even though it may not be what they have said right now, it is still true. It is comforting to know that in my life in this crazy time of everything changing that there is something, someone, I can always rely on and that will always be there for me and never change.
