Through studying the Book of Mormon, inspired teachers, classmates and friends, I have gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jesus Christ loves and knows each and every person on an individual basis. Sometimes it doesn't seem that way, but it's true. When I feel forgotten, or unimportant, it's because I forgot the Lord, and haven't acknowledged Him.
I'm continually learning things about this gospel, which I am so grateful for. As I study one topic, I see it's relationship with all the other aspects of the gospel, and am completely amazed at how perfectly it is set up! You could pick two random principles from the Topical Guide in the Book of Mormon, study them, and find a relationship between the two of them! Everything compliments each other, because it's all true, and directing us towards God.
I have felt the spirit in my life, and as I strive to follow even the smallest promptings, I have seen how it blesses my life- even if it's as small as taking a different route to or from school. As I follow these small promptings, I am more in tune with the spirit, and recieve help in all that I do, and I am able to understand the feelings I get, and what the Lord would have me do.
I have read the Book of Mormon, I have felt the spirit, and I have prayed to know if it is true. It is true! Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who saw God the Father, and his son Jesus Christ, and with their help and guidance, translated the Book of Mormon, and started the work of the Lord . Jesus Christ lived and died and lived again. He suffered my pain, grief and sorrow, that I might be forgiven as I repent. He died for me, so I can live again. He did this for all people everywhere, and he wants all his children to return to him. Only through Christ can we be saved, and I Know that this is the gospel that brings men to Christ- the way to salvation.
I have a testimony that these things are true, and I'm grateful to those who have helped me gain this testiomony- modern day, and ancient. I hope and pray that I might be an instrument in the hands of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
