I believe in Christ

I have come to a realization that there is a difference between my knowledge of things and the things that I know. I have realized that my knowledge is small compared to the importance of the things that I know to be true. As I continue to study the scriptures and feast upon the words of the prophets my knowledge continues to grow, as does the strength behind the feelings that I have toward the things that I know to be true. I have a learned a lot of new things this semester, but most importantly I have learned the solidity to my testimony.
I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet called of God in this the last dispensation. I know that his mission was divine and sacred in bringing forth the Book of Mormon and restoring the true church of Jesus Christ to the earth, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that that restored church stands today as a beacon for all those who seem lost.
I know that Jesus is the Christ and He gave his life and took it up again so that I can have life eternal. He is the One who suffered the agonies of Calvary's hill and Gethsemane in order to build the bridge that crosses the gaping hole of despair. Christ is there, He is real and He is forever reaching out to ANY who will turn and grasp his might hand. No matter how deep or how far away you may be, He will hold you firmly and guide you back to safety. He knows the way so well because he is the way; and there is no darkness deep enough to extinguish his eternal light.
I know that Jesus Christ is the very Son of the living God. I know that He lives. And I say these things in His sacred name, even the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
