How i know

Along with the many who have testified of Christ i want to add my witness that He lives. When i was about 17 years old i was about to make some desissions that would direct the course of my life, and i didn't want to make the wrong choices that would lead me in the wrong direction. So with this in mind i knew that i needed to findout if what i had been taught about my Father in Heaven, and my savior Jesus Christ, was true. I had been told about a promice that is found in the end of the book of mormon, that says if you will read the Book of
Mormon-which testifies of Christ-and pray, then you can come to know through the powere of the Holy Ghost that these things are true. I took this promice the test and i read and prayed. I really wanted to know if what i had been taught was true. Though the answer didn't come right away, but rather i had to continue to search, I testify that the answer did come. And becaues it didn't come right away and i had to search more, when it did come i knew it. It is hard to dicribe the feeling, but knew what it was. Now i know that Christ does live, and He died for everyone of us. God is my loving Heavenly Father, as He is your yours. I also know that Joseph Smith was called to be our prophet in these days, and to restore the fullness of the gosple of Jesus Christ to the earth. Along with Joseph i know that Thomas Monson is a prophet of God called to lead us through these time, and through the trials we will face. I bear you this witness that i know these things are true in the name of our savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
