The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. There is no doubt about that in my mind. Joseph Smith was truly a prophet, and a great one at that. The visions that he said he saw were real, and he didn't lie to us when he said that he translated the gold plates. I know this, because I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I love the Book of Mormon, and the guidance that it, as well as The Bible, give to me.
I know that if I am having a hard time, or if I need help, that I can turn to my loving Heavenly Father in prayer, and that he will give me the guidance that I need. I know that the Holy Ghost can be my constant companion if I live worthily, and that through that great gift I can be led in the right direction as well as receive comfort.
Jesus Christ atoned for my sins so that I could be forgiven, and so that he would know how to help me. Christ truly did experience every pain I have, every heartache and sickness, and he bore all of my sins. My savior understands me, because he knows what I go through and what it feels like. And, I know that he loves me, because he came down to this earth, suffered in Gethsemane, and died on the cross so that I may repent and return to live with my Heavenly Father.
So, when times start getting rough, and when I think I can't handle what I've been given, I remind myself of my new motto; I believe in Christ... So come what may!
