“I know that my Redeemer lives. What comfort this sweet sentence gives! He lives, he lives who once was dead. He lives, my ever-living Head. He lives to bless me with his love. He lives to plead for me above. He lives my hungry soul to feed. He lives to bless in time of need.” This is one of my favorite hymns because it helps express my feelings about the Savior. I know that Christ lived and died for me. I know that He atoned for my sins so that I could return to live with Him again. I also know that He was resurrected and lives today and that if I live worthy enough I too can be resurrected. This semester, I have gained an important testimony of the Book of Mormon. I know that Moroni and Joseph Smith wouldn’t have gone through what they went through if it weren’t true. I don’t think I’ve ever read the second half of the Book of Mormon before, and I was definitely missing out. I am so thankful for this gospel and everything it has given me in my life.
