The Lord is My Shepherd

I know that our Father in Heaven loves each and every one of his children.  The Plan of Salvation was set into motion to lead us to eternal joy and happiness.  Jesus Christ made that plan possible by suffering for our sins and transgressions and I know that because He suffered He knows us intimately.  He knows our challenges, and our weaknesses.  He knows in what we find joy and when we feel sorrow.  He knows that there will be times that we will be so buried in despair that we cannot recover on our own, so He extends His arm of mercy to us and waits for us to grasp it.  The Atonement can heal broken hearts, it can lift broken spirits, it can mend broken families and because of it, even broken covenants can be reforged and all people invited back to the fold.

I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He loves with every fiber of His being.  He wants desperately for you to accept His gift which is valued above all things of this world.  To accept His aid you must take His yoke upon you and covenant to walk with Him all your days.  You will learn how to become like Him and your joy will be too full to measure.  I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was established by God for that purpose: to bring his children to the true knowledge of the Son who gave all for us to have the chance to change.
