I have a testimony of Jesus Christ, His eternal gospel, and his church and kingdom restored again upon the earth. It is a testimony I've had all my life, but has grow much stronger over the years. I testify that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's kingdom restored upon the earth and that we have living prophets and apostles who guide it under the direction of the Lord Jesus Christ. I testify of the power of the priesthood and that any priesthood holder, living righteously, acting under the direction of the Holy Ghost is doing the work of Jesus for the behalf of His people on the earth. I testify that the scriptures are the word of God and that through them prayers are answered, lesson are taught, and the voice of Christ is heard.
Jesus is the Savior. The great redeemer. The only one who can provide a way whereby man can be saved and exalted personally, and with his family. I testify that through His atonement, when he suffered in the garden and died on the cross, a way was provided for me, and all, to become clean from sin. I have felt the cleansing power of the atonement in my life and have had the consequence, pain, and guilt of sin taken completely from my life through that miracle. I testify that the atonement both justifies us, and sanctifies us. I testify that Jesus will spend time with everyone of us if we allow Him into our lives. I testify that He has spoken to me, as He will to all else, in His scriptures. I testify that I have been encircled about in the arms of His love. I testify of the reality of His life, mission, and the plan that He has for each of is. I testify that Jesus is the Son of God, sent to save the world from sin.
I testify that I know all of these things personally, that I know them through the power of the Holy Ghost. I testify that Jesus is my friend and that my life would be lost and empty without Him. But through Him I have joy, and will one day be able to stand with confidence in the presence of God to be judged, and then enter in Gods kingdom, receive all that He has, and live in joy with my family forever.
This is my testimony which I bare, in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.
