I Believe in Christ

I am so grateful for the opportunity to express my understanding and the knowledge that I have of the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In such a crazy world that is filled with so much hate, pain, and sorrow,it is easy to get lost in the things that surround us and to lose hope and joy. I remember being young and innocent and not having to worry about all of the troublesome things of the world but as I have gotten older I realize that these things can not rule over my life. The gospel has given my freedom and reminds me that there are others out there looking for this hope. That innocents has come back into my life, to where as I am not ignorant to those things around me, but I can see the good in life and have so much to be grateful for. One of the things that I have learned is something very personal but so important. When dealing with any trial, it is important to remember Jesus Christ's Atonement for each one of us. Nothing else matters, its that simple. If you can understand that the Lord loves you and wants only wants you to come back to him, and take the Atonement upon you, you are garenteed a lasting happiness through out the eternities. The Lord loves me and knows me, adn I am striving to know and trust Him as much as He trusts in me. I was not sent here to fail, or feel miserable. We learn from the bad things that happen so we can grow. "There is no comfort in growth, there is no growth in comfort". I believe that the Lord would not but us through anything that we could not handle and to blame Him would be from our own pride. We should tak our times of trouble as a time to grow closer to him. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. It brings me peace and joy that I can not describe in words. I am greatful for the Holy Spirit that has testified of this truth to me.
