I Know

I know that this Book was written for the purpose of being here for us in the latter days. I know that this record came from the golden plates which were translated by the prophet Joseph Smith through the power of the Holy Ghost. I know that they are true and that they are inspired of God. I know that they have helped me in my day to day life not only with the words and principles contained in them but by the feelings this book invokes.
I know that this Book was written by the prophets of old. I also know that there are prophets on the earth today that love and care for all of us as a world. I know that they are inspired of God and that their teachings and talks are basically scriptures too. I love that I have the opportunity twice a year to listen to these great men speak and talk about the mysteries of God. It gives me great comfort to know that our Heavenly Father gives these men words to say, and that he leads, guides, and directs his church through their mouth. I know that Jesus Christ truly did die for us, and more specifically for me. I know that he suffered for all my sins, pains, anguishes, and sufferings and that I only need to turn to him to receive help to make it through my trials. I know that he will return again in all his glory and might. I hope that when the day comes for me to meet my maker, I will be prepared to face him and not be ashamed for what I have done but that I will be able to look him in the face and say, “I have done my best..” and hope that that is enough.
