The Rock in My Life

I am so thankful for my Savior and how my life has been transformed by the knowledge of the gospel. I know that Christ suffered and died for me and that he loves and cares about me very much. I have a testimony of the importance of turning to Christ. I know when life gets hard and discouraging the best thing to do is to turn towards the Savior. He truly has suffered all and he understands everything that I go through. I feel peace when I remember this and I am comforted when I pray to my Heavenly Father. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon, its truthfulness is a key element in helping me find my way. I know the Book of Mormon is true, it is the word of God and I know that I can draw closer to my Heavenly Father by reading it. I have a testimony in the power of prayer, I always feel better after saying a prayer and reflecting on all the things that I am so thankful for.
I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and brought forth this gospel. I know that there are living prophets and apostles on the earth today to lead and guide the people in these latter days. I understand that everyone on earth came here by choice to come and be tested and tried and to return to our Father in heaven. I am so grateful to be here and to have the opportunity to grow and learn live righteously. I am so happy to know that someday I will marry in the temple and be sealed to a worthy priesthood member, and I will be able to raise my children in the gospel.
To end I would like to re-emphasize the fact that Jesus Christ is the rock in my life. He is my light, and if I hold to him I will not fall. I am so blessed to live in these times, to have the experiences that I do that strengthen my testimony each day. I cannot find the words to describe how amazing it is to know and understand the things that I do because of this gospel. I was once lost but I have found my way, and that way is Christ.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
