I Am Grateful

I am so grateful the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is in my life. I am grateful to know what I know! I recently had an internet conversation with someone who hates the LDS church and said really horrible things about it and wanted me to prove different things. Needless to say I couldn't prove anything and I didn't want to argue so I left the person with my testimony and said I couldn't continue in the conversation. I just wanted that person to know the truth about what we believe but they really had no interest and just wanted to argue and disprove the church. It really made me think about my testimony. It helped me remember that you really don't need to prove anything. If you have faith and ask Heavenly Father for truth he will give it to you. That's what the Holy Ghost is for. That's what's really important. Everybody needs to know for themselves and not rely on what others think or say. It doesn't have to make sense, because nobody knows or understands everything, as long as you know in your heart, it's true. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon and all other scriptures, prayer, and the great Atonement. I am grateful for the young women summer camps that I have attended because lessons I have learned there are what made my testimony blossom in the very beginning. I am grateful for the Prophet and I know he really IS a Prophet of God.
I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church and the only complete church! It's so easy to belive in the Book of Mormon if you believe in the Bible! I am the only member in my family and I know how important it is to be a good example and help everyone else to be able to know the truth for themselves. I am grateful for my awesome husband who is a great example in my life as well as all of the other people I know. But the greatest example is Jesus Christ. Nobody is perfect on this earth but we do have that ONE amazing example to look up to and try harder to become a better person each and every day. All we can do is try our hardest and we'll succeed!
