Moroni's example has taught me several things. Here are a few I want to share:
-Despite worldly turmoil and wickedness, I can hold fast to what is right and what I believe.
-Hardships and trials don't have to make me bitter. I can face these eventualities with a glad heart, trusting in God.
-I can be Christ-like and have charity for all of God's children, even those who may seek to persecute me (true Christian courage).
-I can "remember how merciful the Lord [has] been" to His children in the past, and know that He will continue to be merciful to all His children even today.
-I can learn from the example and counsel of my rigtheous parents.
I can strengthen my integrity -to live the gospel even when I'm in situations where it may seem easier not to.
How blessed we are to have the words and righteous examples of the Book of Mormon prophets. I bear witness of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. When I read it, I feel closer to God. It contains the words of Christ.
