I Believe in Christ

Dear Moroni,
You are not alone. Christ is my personal Savior and Redeemer. He is my Brother and my Friend. He is light unto salvation and my courage and strength to continue on even when darkness threatens to consume me. His love anchors me in this world of turmoil and reminds me that I am a daughter of God, a person capable of great things because of my divine heritage. I know Christ lives; He bore His cross so that I could carry mine.
Two of the greatest gifts I enjoy in this life are His atoning sacrifice and the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. I know that God wants me and all of His children to return to Him and become like Him, and He will do everything in His power to make that happen. That's why He has given us His Son and His Spirit. Christ is the only one who can grant salvation. And the Holy Ghost always testifies of Christ and the Light of Truth. The Atonement changes lives. I am a new creature through repentance. Because of my weakness, I need His strength every day in my life. When I turn to Him in prayer and thanksgiving, then am I a pliable clay in His hands to do His will. He doesn't necessarily need us to be His hands, but He wants us to be His hands--to serve, to love, to grow and learn, and become more like Him.
God never varies in His words and has given us patterns of authority through prophets and apostles and priesthood power. Families are an eternal unit in God's plan made possible through Christ's Atonement. I love Him. I these words are true; I would put my life on the line for these beliefs. In the name of my Savior and my Best Friend, Jesus Christ. Amen
