Dear Moroni,
I believe in Christ. I know that he lives. He created the Earth under the direction of the Father. He was submissive to all the father asked. Jesus knew we could not return to God without his help. He submitted himself to the pains and sorrows of the World as he suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane. He suffered so much that he bled from every pore. The pains and sufferings in that garden bridged a gap between our returning to God in that we could now repent and have the capability of repenting of our sins. He came to save us from our sins. He was crucified and died on the cross. This gave us the ability to be resurrected and have our body and spirit eventually to be reunited after this life in a perfect form.
Jesus Christ truly is our mediator. He speaks to the father on our behalf. He satisfies justice and grants us grace. Even if we do all that we can and follow every commandment ever created, we still fall short of God's glory and would be lost, except through Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I am truly grateful that Jesus Christ is my mediator. That he can satisfy the justice of my sins if I will but rely upon Him and ask for forgiveness of my sins. Jesus is the Christ, the savior of us all, the great mediator of all mankind.
