I would like to bear my testimony that I too believe in Christ. Recently, I have gained a testimony of the power of prayer and of our personal relationship with Him. He is not only our Savior, but our friend as well. He is the only friend that is always there for us whenever we need Him. He is never busy at that moment, or has His phone turned off, or out of range. He's always there if we just realize that He is. He loves us more than anything we could ever imagine. He didn't send us here to Earth completely on our own. He gave us the gospel and prophets and leaders and families and friends to guide us along the way. The things that the prophets tell us are true, and they are truly men of God. The gospel is a gospel of happiness, that if we just follow it, we will surely be happy. It is simple, but not necessarily easy. But the rewards are definitely worth it. It may not always be easy and a lot of the time it will be hard, but it is at those moments when we must put our trust in the Lord and realize that He knows the ending. He knows what's best for us. We don't see it because we're inside the picture, but because He's outside of the picture He knows and understands everything. Though it may sometimes hurt to do the right thing, it is only for our benefit. Christ would never purposefully hurt us. In order to become an excellent person, we must be stretched and pulled and tried and learn from all of those experiences. I know, though sometimes I may lose sight of it, that everything that happens to us is for our benefit. I know that there is a God who loves us and that we are all His children. This love for us is made manifest in everything we see around us. I know that with the bad comes the good, and there is a good side to everything though it may be hard to find. I love the Lord and I am so grateful for the influence He has had in my life and I know that without Him, I would be nothing. I love the gospel and the impact that it has had on my life. It IS my life. I'm grateful for the knowledge that I have and the trials and experiences I have gone through, and though it may sound a little crazy, I pray for more trials because it means that I'm progressing. I leave this as my witness, that if we follow the commandments of the Lord we will be blessed. I have seen it in my life. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
