Christ is My Savior!

Dear Moroni, Thank you for being the kind of example of Christ we all are trying and striving to be. I would like to start by saying I really know this church is true! I don't believe, I don't have a feeling or inkling of its surety I truly know for a fact that it's true and I am happy to stand and testify of its truthfulness!

Before I came up to BYU-Idaho last fall I was scared and really unsure of what was to become of me as a member of this church and this gospel. I was unsure of everything that I had ever been taught and what I grew up with. I wasn't going to serve a mission and I hadn't read pretty much anything of the Book Of Mormon. I was in a real rut in my life doing things I shouldn't be doing and not living up to the standards I know to be true now. Then I saw a bright light I had never seen before in being around the wonderful people that inhabit this amazing town known to me as the Burg! I had never felt the way i do up here before. I am from Utah and I have grown up in the church all my life but never really truly believed or wanted to do anything about it until now. I love this University and everything I have gained from being up here and I am Excited and Happy to say I have made the choice to serve a mission for the Lord and this true Church! I have my call and I am going to the Honduras Comayaguela Mission and I leave August 13th!!! I am so excited and I can't wait to serve the Lord with all my might, mind, and strength.

Christ is my Savior and I know he atoned for mine and everyone's sins so we may return to him one day! I know Joseph Smith was a true Prophet and restored this gospel upon the earth! I know President Monson is our modern day Prophet and I will follow him to any end! I love this gospel and I love it's teachings. I thankful for the gospel in my life and I don't know where I would be today if I didn't have it's guiding light in my life! The Church is True I know it now!! And I can't wait to be a missionary!
