I Believe

I know with all of my being that this church is true and that Jesus Christ is my savior. I know that without him, none of us would be able to return to live with him once again. I am so grateful that I have the true gospel in my life. Ever since coming out to college I have had to lean on it so much. Just as all of us do, I have had trials in my life that I know I would never have been able to overcome if it wasn't for the power of prayer and the priesthood.

I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and another testament of Christ. I am so grateful that I have finally read the whole book because I can honestly say that I know all of its contents are true. They are like a road map for my life right now, and if all of us would just apply them to our daily lives, we will be blessed eternally for our efforts in striving to be like Christ.

I also know that we have a living prophet today. I am so grateful for him and all that he does for us. He truly is the mouthpiece of the lord, and it is through him that we receive modern day council from God.

I am so grateful for Christ and his atoning sacrifice. He is my saviour, elder brother, and someone that I know will always be there for me no matter what. I believe in Christ and I know his teaching are true. I say these things in his name, Jesus Christ, Amen.
